Hard copy documentation is still often required by law, for example company accounts and legal documentation must be held as paper documents. An in-depth knowledge of paper its structure, composition and subsequent reaction to fire and water is vital for swift and effective restoration following a major disaster. The loss of critical documentation in a crisis can cause major disruption and loss of business continuity resulting in millions of pounds in lost business every year.
